“I’ve  heard a lot about Brazilians and Brasil. I was told that it’s a place full of passion, beautiful and very warm. Since my arrival at the airport and during my performance, I was well welcomed.”, he said to Danilo Gentili on The Noite, which airs this Monday (10).

During the talk, Lee Junho tried a few words in Portuguese, talked about his first culinary experience in the country, and thanked the fans for their love. He was really successful as a singer before he started acting in dramas. Winner of the reality show Super Star Survival, he’s part of 2PM and he is also active in a solo career.

“It doesn’t matter the activity, I feel fulfilled both as a singer and as an actor. I have double the reasons to receive this affection and I feel grateful to see it crossing boundaries.”, he says. “There were people who knew me as a singer and already liked my work, but now times have changed and the technology has advanced. It was possible to reduce the distance between us through the internet, which makes me honoured and happy”, he points out. He starred on King the Land and took the global ranking leadership on Netflix.

Through his career on screen, he played characters like Yi San, on the novel The Red Sleeve (2021), for which he lost 16 kilos. “It’s a story based on the last Korean Dynasty”, Lee Junho recalls. About Cashero he hints. “This word is the combination of  ‘cash’ and ‘hero’. It’s an adaptation of a webtoon about superheroes”, he says.
